Description

As the Recruiting Manager, you will strategize and deliver recruiting solutions to acquire, retain and engage top and diverse talents to meet the Micron's growing talent needs in Malaysia. As an integral member of the HR leadership team, we believe that you will provide the key leadership needed to build deep recruiting expertise in your functional area. You will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of recruiting solutions by understanding the business direction and customer needs. To accomplish this, you will be required to collaborate with various HR functions, peers, managers, and vendors from multiple organizations and geographies.

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibility

  • Establish and lead strategic partnerships with vendors/education institutions and government agencies to promote Micron Talent Brand and drive talent attraction programs.
  • Provide consultation and act as a key enabler for the global recruiting community
  • Provide advice and mentor to junior recruiters and candidates so the hiring process can run efficiently.
  • Need to source for niche, managerial positions and hire the most competent candidate to the company.
  • Lead some of the global programs and roll out to other locations.

Govern Recruiting Programs and Policies

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory compliances and RBA
  • Collaborate with global HR and recruiting teams to develop, deploy and maintain global programs in Malaysia.
  • Lead key interdependencies between systems and processes.
  • Drive consistency and alignment of global programs regionally.
  • Identify, build, and recommend solutions in collaboration with the global TA function

Support and Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain knowledge of current trends for recruiting.
  • Support and enable recruiting metrics to demonstrate/evaluate the effectiveness and efficiencies recruiting solutions locally.
  • Benchmark and assess performance levels as well as identify improvement actions from recruiting metrics.

Manage Customer and Partner Relationships

  • Identify and collaborate with customers and partners both internal and external to effectively develop and deploy recruiting solutions.
  • Collaborate with key partners to anticipate future state.
  • Partner with various functions to ensure program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent .
  • Human Resource Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Good organization skills and able to multitask
  • At least 3-5 years in a leadership position
  • High energy
  • Able to travel within Malaysia 25% of the time
