Job Responsibility

  • Strong organizational skills to ensure all aspects of the proposal, from technical compliance to pricing, are accurate and professionally presented.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and proposals simultaneously without missing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with internal team ie. Sales, Project and client.
  • Able to liase with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to gather necessary technical information during bidding.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for tenders and RFQs (Request for Quotations).
  • Analyze client specifications, technical requirements, and tender documents to ensure the proposal meets all criteria.
  • Prepare and format all proposal-related documents, including datasheets, technical drawings, compliance statements, and certificate ie. API, Firesafe.
  • Assist in preparing responses to clarifications, post-bid evaluations, and any technical queries raised by the client.
  • Keep all documentations updated ie. Reference List, Quotation List.
  • Prepare the handover meeting to the Project Team once PO received.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least Degree in Engineering courses ie. Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical etc. (Diploma holder with relevant working experience may consider)
  • Fresh graduate or at least 2 years working experience, preferably as proposal engineer-Experience in creating detailed technical and commercial proposals, especially for onshore/offshore oil & gas projects or similar industries.
  • Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
