Your ‘day to day’

The Consumer Engagement & Activation Executive is responsible for the management, deployment and performance of the CE team, this role involves sourcing and negotiation with outlet owners for permissions for roving. The executive is required to driving improvements in successful engagements, lead generation, device offtakes, and user registrations. The executive will also gather feedback from CE teams, agencies, and internal stakeholders to enhance CE tools and processes. Strong negotiation skills and a focus on performance improvement are essential.

Key Activities

CE Team Management & Deployment

  • Responsible for the day-to-day deployment of Consumer Engagement (CE) activities, whether for regular roving or specific plug-in events.
  • Conduct regular fieldwork to monitor CE deployment, ensuring smooth execution and achievement of all KPIs.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to CE team members for performance improvement as needed.

CE Roving Route Development

  • Leverage available data to identify and propose LANU hotspots for roving activities. Plan efficient and effective routes for CE teams (including negotiation with outlet owners for permission to rove), ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Monitor the performance of each route, providing weekly reports and proposing activation plans to boost performance as required.

CE Team Recruitment and Capability

  • Work closely with agencies to recruit CE candidates, ensuring the selection of suitable individuals.
  • Maintain the required headcount with a healthy standby list for immediate deployment when needed, including fulfilling requests for ad-hoc event activations.
  • Ensure all CEs are trained before deployment, collaborating with the Commercial Capability team to organize necessary training and annual refreshers.
  • Provide feedback to improve training modules based on observations and CE feedback.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Continuously monitor all performance metrics of CE team and areas covered (e.g., Total Audience, Successful Engagements, Leads Generated, Device Offtakes, New User Registrations) to achieve monthly and yearly KPI targets.
  • Consolidate and submit weekly roving results with feedback on area performance and propose action plans.

Competitor Activities Reporting

  • Compile and report all competitor activities in the lifestyle channel, making actionable recommendations for adjustments to CE activities where necessary to remain competitive.

Compliance

  • Ensure all activities in the assigned territory comply with PMM policies, procedures, and local regulations. Obtain necessary stakeholder approvals before deploying any new activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification requirement should be degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing, Finance
  • Experience in activation environment, or handling consumer-facing roles such as retail frontliner in multinational or credible local company.
