Due to this continued success, we are now seeking a Business Development Representative that will join our Asia sales team and grow our business across Malaysia and Indonesia (Sumatra).

What is this about?

Our newly created Business Development Representative will be based in Malaysia and will drive new business development across the Malaysia and Indonesia. You will own McGraw Hill’s Global Professional digital new sales budget - selling and promoting our medical and engineering education solutions, mainly our Access portfolio.

What can you expect as our new Business Development Executive:

  • Hunter role - Business Development: Be our specialist in business development and sales, leading the charge in promoting and selling our digital medical education solutions in new markets throughout Malaysia and Indonesia (Sumatra).
  • Market Expansion: Deliver annual targets through identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the territory. Targeting universities, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and government health authorities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high level decision-makers as well as education managers, understanding their digital education needs and designing tailored proposals/solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep knowledge of our products and stay informed of product offerings, industry trends, and competitors to effectively align and communicate the value proposition of our solutions.

You should apply if:

  • You have previous experience working in a Business Development Sales role, coupled with a proven sales track record of delivering/exceeding sales goals.
  • You have previous experience working within the medical/pharmaceutical industry and/or digital education sector. This is not essential but highly advantageous.
  • You have very strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • You possess the right to work in Malaysia.
  • You have the ability to travel regularly across Malaysia and Indonesia.
  • You could speak Bahasa Indonesia, which would be an advantage.
