Job Description

About the Role:

• We are looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Solution Specialist to join our Business Intelligence & Operations Solution team.
• You have intermediate knowledge in Python programming to optimize and streamline operational processes.
• You will build and document efficient processes, and use SQL skills to extract and manage data.
• The Business Intelligence & Operations Solution team supports MY Operations by providing insights, streamlining processes, and conducting experimentations to guide operational effectiveness.
• You will report into the Assistant Manager, Business Intelligence & Operations Solution and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.
  
  

Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• You will develop solutions to improve workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• You will use Python to automate repetitive tasks and processes, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• You will use SQL to extract data from databases as required for processing and operational needs, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• You will create comprehensive user guides and technical documentation to support the deployment and maintenance of solutions.
• You will work closely with stakeholders within MY Operations to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
• You will collaborate with Country Strategy and Project teams to ensure understanding and support for broader organizational goals.
  
  

Qualifications

What Skills You Will Need

• You have 3 years of experience
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• You have intermediate skills in Python programming.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and management is advantageous.
• You show strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, and you are highly adaptable and flexible in high-pressure environments.
• You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  
  

The Nice-to-Haves

• You have experience with ChatGPT and/or OpenAI GPT API.
• You are familiar with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• You are familiar with remote working tools like Google Suites, Zoom, and Slack.
