We are partnering with a leading supplier in Malaysia, with a growing presence in Southeast Asia. The company develops, manufacture and market rubber and rubber related compounds.

Responsibility :

  • Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives focused on gross contribution margin and product consistency.
  • Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, leading the procurement team to enhance performance, and staying informed on market trends to effectively manage the supply chain.
  • Requires active participation in Research & Development for new product initiatives and cost improvements.
  • Ensuring ethical procurement practices and identifying potential risks within the process are essential, along with any additional duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess a minimum Bachelor's/ Professional Degree in (Marketing, BusinessAdministration, Logistic) or equivalent in a related field of study.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of related working experience for a managerial position in the related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Those with a Diploma must have a minimum of 8-10 years of related working experience.
  • Preferred as it is necessary to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple concurrent activities.
  • Strong leadership that includes analytical and problem-solving skills and good time management.
  • Proactive, fast learner, and a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
