A Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and closing of various integration projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. The Project Manager will use his/her experience to execute phase-1 studies that will lead to phase-2 implementation work, develop engineering standards and design methodologies for use within RoviSys Asia and act as a primary point of contact for any commercial issues involving a project that he/she is acting as the Project Manager. In between project deployment, the Project Manager will also assist with new project estimating and systems engineering and pursue new and repeated business actively.

Description of Work:

Team Leadership

  • Provide technical and non-technical assistance to project team.
  • Serves as point of contact for customers and trades.
  • Assist with prioritizing and assigning project tasks.
  • Participate in project meetings.
  • Develop customer and trade relationships.

Project Acceptance Test Methodology

  • Understanding of customer demonstrations and acceptance testing.
  • Understanding of test plans of typical MES or Software projects (incl. Automation and Software), functional tests, UAT and go-live.
  • Participate in relevant design meetings to drive project progress where necessary.

Project Management

  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables specific to MES and OT systems integration.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones tailored to MES and /or OT projects.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the full execution of integration projects.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, considering the unique demands of OT environments.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, particularly those related to MES and OT systems.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and escalate issues when necessary.

Job Knowledge:

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate the type of work that RoviSys performs to outside individuals and organizations.
  • At least 3 years of project experiences in specific industries, such as Semi-con, SMT, PCBA, Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chem, etc.
  • Applies knowledge and expertise acquired through experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique situations.
  • Ability to develop quality plans for projects and monitors projects for quality through the project lifecycle.
  • Develops engineering standards that help streamline engineering processes as well as increase the efficiency/effectiveness of project execution.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in MES, software projects or OT systems integration projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology or Scrum is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Good understanding of OT systems, including Data Historian, SCADA, PLCs, and DCS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
