SENIOR TECHICAL MANAGER

Maintain, drive, supervise and implement robust technical standards, systems and processes. Influence technology strategies and decisions with a high-level of expertise and knowledge. Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with relevant legislative specifications and standards. The Senior Technical Manager will support Project Managers by completing open pit and underground mine engineering, design, planning and operating & capital cost estimation. The Senior Technical Manager will be assigned to a multitude of projects, including technical studies ranging from desktop studies to NI 43-101 compliant technical reports, technical project and due diligence reviews and operational assistance. Project site specific tasks: • Convert Long Term mine plan into medium and short-range execution. • Develop detailed mine designs and schedule/sequences (monthly, daily, weekly mining plans). • Determine optimal stockpile use and inventory. • Attend daily coordination meetings with production. • Develop and optimize drill and blast designs. • Perform monthly reconciliation of grade / tonnes. • Complete monthly mine production reporting and comparisons to budget.
