- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors. - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project requirements. - Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors to meet the company's quality, price, and timeline objectives. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms for pricing, quality, delivery, and service. - Manage supplier relationships, addressing performance issues, fostering partnerships, and developing long-term supplier strategies. - Monitor market trends to stay updated on price fluctuations, supply chain risks, and emerging technologies related to construction sourcing. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and standards in all procurement activities. - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to forecast material and service needs, contributing to accurate budgeting and planning. - Conduct risk assessments of suppliers and procurement activities, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the supply chain. - Lead a team of sourcing specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve sourcing goals. - Prepare reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and other KPIs for senior management.
