Job Summary: The Workshop Manager/Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired efficiently. This role involves supervising a team of technicians, managing resources, and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Workshop Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, including scheduling and prioritizing repair and maintenance tasks. Team Supervision: Manage and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Maintenance and Repairs: Ensure that all machinery and equipment are regularly serviced, maintained, and repaired as needed. Resource Management: Manage inventory, order parts and supplies, and ensure that all resources are used efficiently. Quality Control: Ensure that all work carried out in the workshop meets the company’s quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on workshop activities, including maintenance schedules, equipment status, and any issues or concerns. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in workshop operations and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in managing or supervising a workshop or similar environment. Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment used in the agriculture engineering industry. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
