About the job The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the entire production process, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing production activities, as well as leading and mentoring the Job Responsibilities Production Planning: Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets. Team Supervision: Manage and supervise production staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working efficiently. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures, conducting regular inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with standards. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of materials, coordinating with suppliers as necessary. Safety Management: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and areas for improvement. Qualifications & Experiences Needed At least Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field Minimum 3 years experience as a Manager Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of production management principles and quality control standards Strong leadership and team management skill Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Understanding of ISO 9001 systems Good understanding of OEE and TPM Understanding of health & safety regulations
