About the Job We are seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing to join our esteemed client in the glove and healthcare manufacturing industry. The Senior Manager Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the factory, ensuring that production processes meet efficiency, quality, and financial performance targets. This role requires a strong leader to manage and develop a high-performing team while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards. The Senior Manager will also collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the factory’s operations align with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a stable employment history within the glove manufacturing industry, a background in engineering or a related field, and maintain a healthy BMI. Job Responsibilities Factory Operations: Lead the overall factory operations to achieve production efficiency within the allocated budget and output targets. Ensure that production processes meet customer specifications, quality standards, and delivery expectations. Production & Financial Performance: Take ownership of the factory’s production performance and financial results, ensuring the achievement of production goals within the planned activities. Drive efforts to meet customer requirements and maintain a productive and orderly operation.\ Team Management: Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team that consistently meets agreed objectives and KPIs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the management team to share ideas and improve operational efficiency. Support and implement continuous improvement activities and processes to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency. Budget Management: Oversee and control the manufacturing budget, ensuring proper planning and financial management of factory operations. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure that the factory operates in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Promote the safety and well-being of all employees by adhering to regulatory standards and internal safety procedures. Qualifications & Experiences Needed Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior manufacturing or production management role, with a proven track record of leading factory operations. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in developing high-performing teams. Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage manufacturing budgets and drive financial performance. Continuous Improvement: Experience with implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Health & Safety: Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
