Mineral Quality Specialist

Job Summary: As a Mineral Quality Specialist, he/she will be responsible for assessing and analyzing the quality of minerals extracted from our mining operations. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our ore meets industry standards and customer requirements Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough analysis and testing of mineral samples to determine their quality and composition. • Utilize advanced laboratory equipment and techniques to perform physical, chemical, and mineralogical analysis. • Interpret and evaluate test results to assess the suitability of minerals for processing and sale. • Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize mining processes and improve product quality. • Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain consistent standards across mining operations. • Monitor and track ore quality throughout the mining and processing stages, identifying any deviations or issues. • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations. • Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to mineral quality assessment. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Chemistry, Industry, Civil Engineering or related field. • Proven experience in mineral analysis and quality assessment within the mining industry. • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. • Strong understanding of mineral processing techniques and ore beneficiation. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
