Responsibilities: Requisition and Purchase Orders: Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies, equipment, and services in alignment with company needs. Ensure that all procurement activities are executed in compliance with company policies and purchasing procedures. Contract Review and Compliance: Review purchase orders, claims, and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards. Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place for all purchases and contracts. Record Management: Maintain accurate records of goods and services ordered, received, and returned. Policy Development: Develop, implement, and continuously improve purchasing policies and procedures that drive efficiency and cost savings. Negotiation with Suppliers: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible deals for the company. Manage supplier relationships to secure reliable supply sources and long-term agreements. Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier activities and performance metrics to ensure they meet quality standards, delivery schedules, and other contractual obligations. Take corrective action when performance issues arise and maintain open communication with suppliers. Supplier Meetings and Feedback: Regularly meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide feedback, and address any areas for improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to support long-term collaboration and partnership. Compliance and Environmental Standards: Review and update supply chain practices to ensure compliance with changing environmental policies, regulations, and laws. Implement sustainable procurement initiatives in line with environmental objectives and corporate social responsibility (CSR) policies.
