ENGINEERING & QA MANAGER

1. Monitor the moulding Section- production control and output. 2. Ensure steady flow if production activities, producing the right product in the right quality, quantity and at the right time. 3. Test run new moulds/materials and determine optimum machine setting. 4. Ensure good housekeeping in the production and crushing area. 5. Initiate, recommend, investigate trouble-shoot and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to the product, process and quality system. 6. Co-ordinate mould repair and maintenance. 7. Supervise Mould Technician and Material Handler. 8. Update parts moulding condition data. 9. Authorised to stop machine from further processing of non-conforming product. 10. Control areas of material wastage; improve product quality and production efficiency. 11. Verify the moulding parameter record. 12. Assist Managing Director in the study of process and machine capability. 13. Ensure that machine and equipment are properly maintained and in good operating condition. 14. Co-ordinate mould modifications, improvement, new mould debugging and mould quality requirements. 15. Train set-up man/technician on work method and quality checkpoint. 16. Maintain record of mould set-up/down, machine downtime and various process settings. 17. Make the purchase for the equipment, machine spare part, tooling spare part and others. 18. Co-ordinate to resolve quality issue and discrepancy raised by QC Department. 19. Prepare Testing Report / Certificate to customers. 20. Responsible for the quality control of finished goods. 21. Maintain required QC Record. 22. Issue CAR when non-conforming product is detected and potential non-conforming. 23. Scheduling of QC Operators’ jobs. 24. Ensure measuring equipment used for assessing product conformity is maintained of its accuracy (calibration). 25. Coordinate & ensure enforcement of the Quality System compliant to ISO System. 26. Coordinate with external organizations on the Company Quality System activities as needed. 27. Report on the quality system performance in the Management Review Meeting. 28. Appoint lead auditor to satisfactorily coordinate internal quality audit of the Company. 29. Verify and approved the final inspection report / inspection report. 30. Reporting to management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement. 31. Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirement throughout the organization.
