Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proactive approach to solving financial issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts on a monthly basis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,450.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
