Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with 7-10 years of experience in IT project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Monitor and track project progress.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Facilitate communication and ensure all parties are informed of project status, risks, and issues.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring team members have clear roles and responsibilities. Provide guidance and support to team members.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement improvements as needed.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability. Report on budget status and variances.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA). Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
