Job Description

OVERVIEW

  • Compounding Engineer is responsible for the planning of all materials preparation required for the production.
  • Monitoring the materials stock level and place for order when required. Ensuring all preparations work is done correctly and meeting the specification.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure chemicals or materials used for Production process are followed the FIFO system.
  • Ensure sufficient chemicals and materials being prepared for Production.
  • Ensure all preparations of the materials are followed the written work instructions.
  • Ensure prepared chemicals or materials are being preserved from contamination.
  • Ensure no mixing up of the prepared or delivered materials.
  • Liaise with Laboratory for any prepared materials that are not within the specification and made adjustment when required.
  • Corrective and preventive actions are to be taken for any of the in compliance.
  • To ensure the team members comply good housekeeping & safety requirement at all compounding areas.
  • Work with R&D team on any trial.
  • Conduct on job training and guidance to the subordinates.
  • Enforcing the company's rules and regulation.
  • Ensure safety tools or equipment are being used, handle and kept in the right manner.
  • Arrange and supervise the disposal schedule waste.
  • Submit reports to Assistant Manager / Manager.
  • Action plan for cost reduction and preventive maintenance.
  • To ensure the D365 system related to CPD updated.
  • To make sure Staging Error related to CPD updated.
  • Conduct discussion/meeting among the compounding team and identify training needs for subordinates.
  • Any other task that may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Science or equivalent.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment or fresh graduate.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

  • Able to do planning, organizing and scheduling work.
