Position: Project Engineer, Technology

Salary: Up to RM7,000

Work Location: PJ - 15 minutes' walk from LRT Asia Jaya

The position holder is responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of IT related projects, which involves coordinating technical resources and ensuring project deliverables meet the overall scope of projects and the defined quality standards.

Job responsibilities:

• To develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including defining scope and its definition, resource allocation, to plan for the project timeline, to plan and execute project testing and UAT;
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration can be obtained;
• To identify and mitigate project risks by proposing and developing contingency plans as needed;
• To monitor and track project progress, to track the key performance indicators, and to provide regular status updates to all project stakeholders;
• Ensure adherence to quality standards by conducting quality assurance reviews and to implement timely corrective measures and actions as necessary; and
• Lead and motivate project teams, and to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Job requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Have sound knowledge of project management and project testing;
• Proven experience in IT project management, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time;
• Have strong analytical, organisational, creative thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; and
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
