Facility Management:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of campus buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility improvements and regular inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all campus facilities.
  • Manage budgets and expenditures related to facility operations and maintenance.

Accommodation Services:

  • Supervise the management of student accommodation, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Handle room allocations, check-ins/outs, and address any issues related to student housing.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address student concerns and complaints regarding accommodation.
  • Ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness of all residential areas.

Security Management:

  • Oversee campus security operations to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.
  • Develop and implement security policies and emergency response plans.
  • Liaise with security personnel to monitor campus security systems, including CCTV and access control systems.
  • Coordinate safety drills and training sessions for campus staff and students.

Transport Management:

  • Manage the university’s transport services, including bus and shuttle operations.
  • Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee transport schedules, route planning, and timeliness of transport services for staff and students.
  • Coordinate with external transport providers to ensure reliable services.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to facilities, accommodation, security, and transport.
  • Prepare regular reports on the performance, issues, and improvements related to these services.
  • Manage operational budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Ensure that records related to accommodation, security incidents, and transport services are accurate and up to date.

Team Supervision:

  • Lead and manage a team of facility, accommodation, security, and transport staff.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to team members, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for staff development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility management, security, accommodation services, or transport operations.
  • Strong understanding of building maintenance, safety regulations, and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work well with students, staff, and external vendors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a higher education setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in Malaysia.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to manage crises effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

  • Performance bonus
