Electrical System Management:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring that all installations comply with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment and systems to ensure functionality and safety.

Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure that all electrical works adhere to Malaysian safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with electrical systems.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and coordinate necessary repairs with internal or external contractors.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed on electrical systems.
  • Prepare reports for management on the status and performance of electrical systems, including any safety concerns.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and provide guidance to maintenance staff, ensuring efficient work practices and adherence to safety standards.
  • Coordinate with other facility teams to ensure seamless operations and maintenance across the campus.

Project Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and renovations.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure that work is completed to specification and on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Malaysian Chargeman Certificate of Competency (AO & BO).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance or facilities management, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

  • Performance bonus
