Job Responsibilities
- Sales Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret sales data from CRM and ERP systems specific to automotive glass products.
- Create sales performance reports that include product-level data (e.g., laminated glass, tempered glass, etc.) and geographical insights.
- Track key sales metrics like revenue growth, product demand trends, and customer segments.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track individual and team sales performance against predefined targets.
- Identify underperforming regions, products, or teams, and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyse sales cycles specific to automotive glass (OEM vs. aftermarket) and provide improvement suggestions.
- Sales Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing accurate sales forecasts for various product lines, including OEM and aftermarket automotive glass.
- Analyze trends in demand, seasonality, and historical sales data to refine sales forecasts.
- Provide sales leadership with actionable insights to adjust sales strategies.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct industry-specific research to stay updated on competitor offerings, new technologies, and market trends.
- Analyze pricing strategies, customer buying behavior, and glass product innovations within the automotive industry.
- Provide insights on market shifts (e.g., electric vehicles, autonomous driving) affecting glass product demand.
- Customer & Product Segmentation:
- Segment customer data based on product types (e.g., windshields, side windows, rear windows), market sectors (OEM vs. aftermarket), and geographical regions.
- Develop strategies to target specific customer segments based on demand, fleet size, or industry growth.
- CRM Management and Data Integrity:
- Ensure the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) is accurately updated with customer, product, and sales data.
- Propose CRM system enhancements to better track product sales and customer interactions within the automotive glass domain.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product development, operations, and finance teams to align sales strategies with production capacities and financial goals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns to promote specific glass products, considering trends in the automotive market (e.g., demand for laminated glass for safety).
- Reporting and Presentations:
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, focusing on product-specific and region-specific performance.
- Create visual representations of market trends, competitor data, and sales performance for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales analysis or data analytics, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems in product-based environments, ideally automotive or industrial products.
- Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket sales channels.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data tools (Excel or Power BI).
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, especially automotive glass products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
- Ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and database management.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
