Reporting to: Financial Controller (Australia)
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes for group entities.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for year-end reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors to ensure smooth audits for group companies.
- Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, arranging, and interpreting relevant data.
- Support the Financial Controller with additional tasks as required.
- Prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial data presentation.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Membership in a professional accounting association (CA/CPA) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience, ideally within the finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting standards, regulations, and processes.
- Proficiency in accounting and reconciliation software systems.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to perform complex financial analyses.
- Strong verbal and visual financial reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
