Competent Gas Fitter Class I

Responsibilities:

• To carry out gas installation, gas engineering, low and medium pressure reticulation systems (LPG and Natural Gas) in accordance to the Malaysian Gas Supply Act (1993), Gas Supply Regulations (1997).
• Responsible for the safe installation, repair, and maintenance of gas systems, ensuring all work is performed to a high standard of safety and compliance.
• Install and commission gas appliances such as boilers, cookers, and heaters at project site.
• Diagnose faults in gas appliances and systems and carry out repairs as needed.
• Perform emergency repairs and troubleshooting on-site, ensuring prompt response to any gas-related issues.

Requirements:

• At least possess a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
• Ability to converse and literate.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in in gas pipeline work or gas installation.
• Certificate of Competency issued by the Energy Commissions of Malaysia (EC).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Experience:

• gas pipeline work or gas installation: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Competency certificate by Energy Commissions of Malaysia (Required)
