  • Research, and evaluate potential suppliers and develop new vendors by the company's SOP.
  • Source and procure materials or equipment according to project requirements (RFQ/BOM) and negotiate the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
  • Liaise and build a good rapport with suppliers and internal teams and other departments (relationship management).
  • Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
  • Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
  • Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
  • Inspect stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and receiving stock.
  • Able to speak and write English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. The additional language will be an added advantage.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be required.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in the relevant management software programmers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Well-written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Great organizational and planning skills.
  • The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
  • The ability to follow client specifications.
