Customer Service:
  • Greet customers as they enter the cafe in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using the cafe's POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries about menu items, ingredients, and pricing.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.Food and Beverage Preparation:
    • Prepare and serve the food and beverages according to cafe standards.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in a timely manner.Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
      • Keep the cafe's front-of-house area, including serving counters, tables, and seating areas, clean and well-maintained throughout the shift.
      • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
      • Restock supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and condiments, as needed.
      • Assist in maintaining inventory levels by keeping track of stock and notifying management when supplies are running low.Cash Handling and Payment Processing:
        • Handle cash and process credit/debit card transactions accurately and securely.
        • Calculate and issue change to customers.
        • Reconcile cash register at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies to management.Teamwork and Collaboration:
          • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
          • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, baristas, and other service crew members to coordinate orders and maintain efficiency.
          • Assist in training new team members as needed.Upkeep of Equipment:
            • Clean and maintain cafe equipment, including air con and refrigerators, to ensure proper functioning.
            • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to management promptly

Education:

  • SPM, diploma or equivalent preferred.

    Experience:

    • Prior experience in customer service, food service, or related field is an advantage but not always required.

      Communication Skills:

      • Good verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
      • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.

        Working Schedule:

        • Can work 6 days a week followed by assigned working schedule, including weekends, and holidays.

          Transportation:

          • Have own transport to come to work on time.
