Job Responsibilities:
Supervise the team to ensure that daily operations deliverables are met with the available resources and within the required SLA
Verify and approve payment for interfacing to bank
Review monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for completeness and accuracy with robust action plan for resolving open items
Review monthly KPI metrics and delivery on key AP metrics and goals
Review Desktop Procedure and Company Code Protocol on a periodical basis
Demonstrates good controllership and adherence to company policies and ICFR requirements
Participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries if necessary Handle customer concern with end to end issue resolution
Maintain relationships with internal and external parties especially affiliates by effective communication
Actively participate in the implementation of projects
Participate in system integration and testing
Drive standardization and automation within the team
Drive global initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Assume the role as AP Process SME
Monitor and manage team resource allocation (manage leave application and back up arrangement)
Develop and coach team members for personal and professional growth Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedbacks and suggestions to line manager
Manage & resolve conflicts with minimal impacts to operations
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure AP functions operate in accordance with established process and procedures, in compliance with audit requirements
Responsible team resource planning for smooth operations
Delivers and monitors on key AP KPI
Ensure that the Localization Page are updated and maintained timely
Responsible for minimize process knowledge gap of team members
Responsible for incoming migration projects and initiatives in driving process efficiency and effectiveness
Establish good relationship with internal and external parties especially affiliates
Who You Are:
Degree or Diploma or equivalent experience in Finance & Accounting/Commerce.
Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively in English.
At least 5 years of experience in transactional accounting teams, in a performance driven environment
SAP knowledge or other ERP accounting systems and Google Docs tools.
External experience in a shared service or business process outsourcing engagement will be preferable.
Experience in handling Accounts Payable Transactions in SAP is an advantage.
