R&D Executive

• Assist in the development and analysis of packaging and labelling products and materials. Under direct guidance, compile, analyze, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products or materials. • Represent the packaging function in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement packaging changes that achieve cost savings. • Design and coordinate packaging activities, including product package design, product labels, and packaging specifications. • Manage the creation, and change control of all labelling and packaging components to support R&D initiatives. • Ensure all labelling and packaging components comply with relevant performance and medical device standards (e.g., UWHM SOP, EU MDR, MDA, GS1, ISO 15223, ASTM etc). • Liaise with vendors to define and finalize specifications for packaging and labelling components. • Provide regular updates to teams on the progress of labelling and packaging projects. • Build quality into all aspects of work by adhering to and maintaining compliance with all UW quality requirements. • Prepare work instructions for packaging, labelling processes and others. • Establish and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) for products in the ERP system and support BOM change activities. • Assist in internal verification activities of UW products, including functionality, safety, and performance tests, to ensure product compliance.
