Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Client Key Account Executive (CKAE) to manage, nurture, and grow relationships with our most important clients in the food-tech industry. This role is essential to maintaining strong partnerships with key accounts, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities for growth. The CKAM will be responsible for developing customized strategies that align with our client’s goals, ensuring optimal product delivery, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key clients in the health food, wellness, and food-tech sectors, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers and senior stakeholders to understand their business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client requirements, preferences, and market trends to anticipate their future needs.

Account Strategy & Growth:

  • Create and execute detailed account plans for each key client, with clear goals for upselling, cross-selling, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand TrySmartBite’s product and service offerings within the key account base such as pantry management and gifting

Project Management & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, operations, customer support) to ensure seamless product delivery, on-time execution, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage and resolve client issues promptly, ensuring the highest level of service quality and satisfaction.
  • Work with the logistics and product teams to ensure clients’ needs for customization and delivery timelines are met.

Contract & Negotiation Management:

  • Lead negotiations with key clients to secure favorable terms, renewals, and new business agreements, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee contract management, pricing structures, and service level agreements to align with both company and client expectations.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct regular market analysis to understand client trends, competitor activities, and emerging industry insights, providing actionable recommendations for the team and clients.
  • Deliver regular reports on account performance, business development, and progress to senior management.
  • Track and report on key metrics related to client satisfaction, account growth, and profitability.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in account management or business development is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in key account management, client relations, or sales, ideally within the food-tech, health food, or wellness sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and driving revenue growth.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with senior executives.
  • Expertise in developing account strategies and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction and delivering effective solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Folk and so on) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
