Job Purpose:
o Supports management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating data/information.
o Involve in the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems; process improvement; ensure best practices financial systems processes are used throughout the organization.
Job Scope:
- Review and verify master data maintenance requests in Hospital Information System.
- Ensure timely update and accuracy of master data at all times.
- Analyze current master data to ensure consistency and accuracy in classification for better analysis and reporting.
- Perform analysis and review package performance, revise the package pricing if necessary.
- Involve in gathering and analyzing data to determine cost of each individual episode of patient care.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare cost/pricing analysis by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
- Prepare/analyze census and financial data and create financial models/dashboard for census/revenue/cost analysis to management and facilitate decision making.
- Perform and analyze inventory costing, consumption and movement analysis.
- Prepare periodic census reporting and financial related analysis.
- Assist in yearly budget preparation for census and revenue.
- Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
- Involve in automation project to improve processes and productivity.
- Identify/enhance existing manual reporting through automatic or Business Intelligent tool.
- Revisit and revise existing SSOP/HOP relating to Financial/Business processes.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis/reporting as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any professional or finance equivalent. Preferably with certification of ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MIA/CIMA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with experience in healthcare pricing and MIS.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of costing and pricing, strong understanding of statistical and data visualization techniques, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including expertise in functions like Power Query.
