- Prepare and issue invoices for vessel husbanding services, port charges and related fees in a timely manner.
- Verify billing information against estimated port disbursement account.
- Ensure that all invoices comply with relevant tax requirements.
- Accurately enter billing data into accounting software systems.
- Liaise with clients, vendors and port authorities to address billing-related queries and resolve disputes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as shipping operation, to ensure accurate billing information.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments and statements of account.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and escalate overdue accounts for collection if necessary.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the department as needed.
- Assist with filing, data management and correspondence related to billing and shipping operations.
Requirement
- At least Diploma holder.
- Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in billing, accounting or administrative support; experience in the shipping or logistics industry is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and billing/ accounting software.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
