  • Prepare and issue invoices for vessel husbanding services, port charges and related fees in a timely manner.
  • Verify billing information against estimated port disbursement account.
  • Ensure that all invoices comply with relevant tax requirements.
  • Accurately enter billing data into accounting software systems.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors and port authorities to address billing-related queries and resolve disputes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as shipping operation, to ensure accurate billing information.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments and statements of account.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and escalate overdue accounts for collection if necessary.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the department as needed.
  • Assist with filing, data management and correspondence related to billing and shipping operations.

Requirement

  • At least Diploma holder.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in billing, accounting or administrative support; experience in the shipping or logistics industry is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and billing/ accounting software.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
