Site Safety Supervisor

• To conduct Tool Box meeting and safety induction prior to starting work. • To monitor the overall safety, health and environmental activities at the project site. • To carry out regular site inspections to ensure safe work practices are followed. • To carry out daily surveillance at work place / site complete with checklist signed. • To coordinate and ensure workers work according to safety regulation and policy along the work site activity including before, during and after site activity • To inspect and checking workers work to ensure compliance with the act and regulations. • To assist Safety and Health Officer to conduct accident investigations of all accidents and near-misses. • To ensure provision of any acts and regulation related to Safety and Health at the workplace is complied with. • To promote and enforce effective environmental, safety and health practices throughout the project site. • To promote the safe conduct of work within the work site. • To verify that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use. • To ensure the provisions of the act and any regulation (OSHA 1994 & FMA 1967) made thereunder are complied with. • To assist in preparing Safety & Health operation manual as per client’s request. • To maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal regulations. • To undertake other duties and responsibilities delegated time to time. Qualifications : • Required certificate: Yellow-Book Holder (SSS) • Min 1-year experiences in the related field is required for this position • Able to work independently advising on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations, guidelines and requirements. • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet timelines and able to follow project team instruction • Good inter-personal skills, good team player
