Develop and implement transformative improvement strategies that target key performance indicators, including production efficiency, product quality, delivery reliability, cost reduction, workplace safety, and employee satisfaction. 2. Complex Process Optimization and Equipment Reliability Management Design and lead optimization strategies for intricate production workflows, incorporating cutting-edge methodologies such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), IoT-based predictive maintenance, and AI-driven downtime analysis. Implement solutions to enhance equipment uptime, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and achieve labor cost reductions through automation and resource allocation modeling. 3. Lean Production Leadership and Cost Management Drive company-wide lean manufacturing initiatives, setting aggressive cost-reduction targets aligned with corporate strategy. Supervise cross-departmental cost-control projects using advanced lean tools such as value-stream mapping (VSM), takt time analysis, and DMAIC methodologies to consistently exceed efficiency benchmarks while reducing costs. 4. Strategic Lean Training and Talent Development Design and implement a comprehensive Lean Manufacturing Talent Development Program in Malaysia, leveraging digital learning platforms, AR/VR simulations, and real-time skill assessment tools. Train and certify a new generation of world-class local lean engineers, equipping them with advanced skills in lean methodology, process improvement, and digital transformation to meet global operational standards. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Process Innovation Lead high-stakes cross-departmental initiatives to ensure seamless execution of company-wide operational objectives. Facilitate advanced process innovation workshops, applying methodologies such as TRIZ, design thinking, and systems engineering to generate breakthrough ideas and optimize end-to-end workflows. 6. Strategic HR Collaboration and Organizational Development Partner with HR to design forward-thinking talent pipelines, succession plans, and leadership development programs tailored to support the company’s expansion into global markets.
