JOB OVERVIEW
The IT Executive is responsible for managing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the effective use of technology, and maintaining IT assets. This role involves supporting day-to-day operations by implementing and maintaining hardware, software, network systems, and managing the company's IT inventory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, including servers, networks, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Manage IT support services to resolve technical issues for employees promptly.
IT Asset Management
- Oversee the inventory, tracking, and management of all IT assets including computers, servers, printers, and software licenses.
- Ensure proper documentation and tagging of assets for easy identification and tracking.
- Manage the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware and software assets.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure compliance with company policies.
Security and Data Management
- Monitor and update antivirus software and ensure data protection protocols are followed.
- Oversee regular data backups and recovery processes to prevent data loss.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide IT support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support and train staff on the proper use of technology, including new system rollouts and updates.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs and software updates.
System Upgrades and Implementation
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technology.
- Collaborate with departments to identify IT solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Vendor Management and IT Procurement
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and negotiate contracts for IT services, equipment, and software.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of IT-related equipment.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on IT performance, asset management, and system usage.
- Maintain detailed records of all IT-related activities, including repairs, installations, and updates.
Any other duties as required by the line manager or Head by Department that are commensurate with the grade

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
