The candidate is expected to build and grow Pakistan Corridor here in Malaysia. The role can further be extended to look after the entire APAC Region. The target customer segment is mainly blue-collar immigrants and a small number of expats living and working here in Malaysia.
Job Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze remittance market trend especially for Pakistan corridor in the region including studying of competitor products and services and increasing profitability of products.
- Identify the target markets (Pakistan) in the region and develop strategies to communicate with them. Identify locations for IME Branding and advertising.
- An excellent communicator; able to communicate in different regional languages of Pakistan.
- Build the retail and digital remittance customer base for Pakistan corridor.
- Have a knowledge of wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.
- Lead and execute marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers. This includes proposing and delivering promotional materials in a timely manner
- Liaise with other internal teams in Sales and Marketing and Administration departments to execute initiatives for the corridor/region
- Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and road shows, working with advertisers, and production managers, to market product and services.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to think creatively and motivate people
- Willing to travel and conduct promotion Events and Road Shows.
- Able to demonstrate and apply skills in word processing and other computer software including but not limited to MS OFFICE (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- At least (2) years of experience in remittance and money exchange field or administrative areas
- Education background of bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential agents/customers
- Knowledge of onsite and digital marketing
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
- Ability to communicate with diverse groups of people professionally and confidently
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) or CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with potential customers
- Demonstrated and proven sales results
- Able to converse fluently in Burmese.
