Requirement:
1. Able to work on shift.
2. Have knowledge about safety and security matters.
3. Prefer candidates with working experience in hotel/hospitality background.
4. Possessing an OSH-Coordinator Certificate will be an added value
Standard Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensures that security operations run smoothly on a daily basis, including scheduling staff security, mintoring premises areas, and ensuring compliance with security procedures.
2. Coordinating the investigation of any safety incidents on the premises, preparing incident reports and taking action to prevent similar incidents from occuring again.
3. Monitor performance and work schedule of security personnel, provide guidance, and ensure that the security requirements of the premises are always met.
4. Porvide regular training to all staff on safety, physical security and emergency response.
5. Security Equipment Maintenance - Ensure all security equipment, such as fire extinguishers, CCTV, and alarm systems, are properly maintained and in working order.
6. Coordinating the investigation of any security incidents that occur on the premises to identify the cause of the incident and the parties involved.
7. Provide complete and detailed incident report, including an analysis of the incident as well as recommendations for improvement measures.
8. Occupational Safety and Health (OSH Coordinator) :-
- Ensure that the safety and health of employees in the workplace is fully complied with by complying with the rules, policies, and safety procedures set. This includes identifying hazards, assessing risks, implementing preventive measures, as well as ensuring that workers are trained and equipped with adequate knowledge of safety and health in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks:
1. Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
2. Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel management team.
3. Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
4. Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
5. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
