Technical Oversight & Code Understanding :

Strategic Direction & Company Leadership :

Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to define and implement the overall strategic vision for the company, ensuring technology is aligned with business goals.
Play a key role in budgeting, resource allocation, and forecasting within the technology department.
Ensure that all technical aspects of the company are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Make key decisions about technology investments, infrastructure, and tools to scale the business.

Collaboration Across Departments :

Work closely with product managers, designers, and other departments to ensure seamless integration between technology and business initiatives.
Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to translate technical concepts into understandable business solutions.
Ensure the technology team is responsive to changes in priorities, product requirements, and customer feedback.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with a deep understanding of coding, software architecture, and systems, while also possessing exceptional leadership skills to manage and inspire a team, and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

Experience :

Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technical leadership role, with a strong background in software development, architecture, and systems design.
At least 10 years of experience managing a technical team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
Experience with a wide range of technologies, tools, and development practices (e.g., web and mobile development, cloud platforms, agile methodologies).
Familiarity with managing large-scale, complex projects and delivering on time.

Technical Skills :

Strong understanding of relevant programming languages, e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc., software development processes, and coding best practices.
Experience with cloud services, server architecture, data storage, and network infrastructure.
Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns, and ability to assess and improve code quality.
Ability to assess risks, scalability, and long-term technical implications.

Leadership & Management Skills :

Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse, talented technical team.
Experience in creating and driving strategic plans, as well as setting and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strong decision-making abilities, capable of balancing short-term goals with long-term strategy.
Outstanding communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
