Repair and Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical components of diesel engines, including starters, alternators, batteries, ignition systems, and wiring harnesses. Troubleshooting:Analyze electrical problems in diesel engines, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Wiring and Connections:Install, repair, and modify electrical wiring and connections specific to diesel engines. Ensure proper grounding, insulation, and routing to prevent electrical hazards and ensure reliability. Safety Compliance:Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations while working on diesel engine electrical systems. Secure electrical connections and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and hazards. Collaboration:Collaborate effectively with other technicians and mechanics, particularly those handling mechanical aspects of diesel engines, to ensure integrated system functionality and efficient operations. AC & DC Expertise:Possess knowledge and expertise in both AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) electrical components as required for diesel engine systems.
