Full Set of Accounts Management

  • Oversee and maintain a complete set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions to ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

    Financial Reporting

    • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
    • Generate ad hoc financial reports as required by management for strategic planning.

      Month-End and Year-End Closing Activities

      • Manage month-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
      • Compile and organize supporting schedules, documentation, and reports for year-end audits and tax filings.
      • Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain compliance with statutory requirements.

        Taxation and Regulatory Compliance

        • Prepare and file all required tax documents, including GST/SST, corporate tax, and withholding tax submissions.
        • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external consultants during audits or regulatory reviews.
        • Stay informed of updates and changes to accounting standards and tax regulations, ensuring compliance in all financial operations.

          Cash Flow Management and Internal Controls

          • Monitor daily cash flow activities and prepare accurate cash flow forecasts to support financial planning.
          • Establish and enforce internal control policies to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

            Process Improvement and System Optimization

            • Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
            • Implement updated accounting practices, systems, and tools for better workflow management.
            • Train team members on new or enhanced accounting processes and software systems.

              Collaboration and Support

              • Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless financial coordination.
              • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to organizational financial planning.

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting partial/full qualifications
  • Experience in preparation of a full set of account
  • Able to speak and write in English, Malay and Mandarin
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Having work experience at Berhad company will give you an added advantage.
