Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate creditworthiness of customers by reviewing financial statements and credit reports.
- Develop, implement, and review credit policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Approve or reject credit applications and monitor accounts for overdue payments.
- Oversee the collections process, follow up on overdue payments, and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain accurate credit records and prepare regular reports on credit limits, aging accounts, and bad debts.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any credit-related inquiries.
- Identify potential credit risks and provide recommendations to mitigate financial exposure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and collaborate with departments like finance, legal, and sales.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in credit management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate financial statements and credit reports.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of credit management software and financial analysis tools.
- Ability to handle difficult or challenging conversations with customers.
- Familiarity with relevant legal frameworks and regulations related to credit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
