Job Description:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electronic and avionics components to identify underlying issues and malfunctions.
  • Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment and tools to analyse and troubleshoot electronic systems.
  • Repair or replace faulty components and perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper functioning.
  • Follow safety protocols and industry regulations while working with sensitive avionic equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience Need:

  • Good combination of education, experience, and skills
  • Education: Diploma or minimum certificate in electronics, avionics, aviation maintenance technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years working as an avionic component repair technician.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of avionic components and systems.
  • Experience working with complex avionic systems, such as communication systems, navigation equipment, and radar systems.
  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership role, overseeing a team of technicians or coordinating repair activities.

Certifications: Possessing relevant certifications can be beneficial, such as:

  • Avionics certifications from organizations like the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA).
  • Manufacturer-specific certifications for avionic equipment commonly used in the industry or Military.

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and effectively communicate repair processes.
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior technicians.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and consistently upgrade skills to keep pace with industry advancements.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
