Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organized General Clerk to support the day-to-day administrative operations of our firm. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication within the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Client Assistance: Handle client inquiries, manage appointments, and maintain courteous communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Document Preparation: Assist with the preparation and formatting of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Filing and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for conveyancing, litigation, and corporate matters.
  • Court Filings and Deliveries: File legal documents with courts, government agencies, or other relevant bodies and handle document deliveries as required.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with lawyers, paralegals, and other staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely task completion.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Support the team with any other administrative or clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM.
  • Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,496.70 per month
