Workshop Manager

• Cultivate good Work, Safety & Health environment at workshop
• Ensure quality repairs for all service and repair works
• Keep records and accountable for all equipment and special tools are well maintained
• Monitor workshop mechanic attendance
• Plan for new Mechanic to receive on-the-job training, assign buddy and complete the basic on-boarding training
• Ensure workshop mechanics are provided with the relevant and adequate tools to work
• Ensure the daily sales at workshop is recorded, signed, safely stored and deliver to respective department on time.
• Conduct weekly work place safety inspection to ensure tidiness and organized equipment by the team
• Counsel staffs on poor work performance to maintain workshop work discipline
• Ensure the inventory quantity in store is tally with system quantity
• Plan and assign tasks to mechanic and storekeeper to ensure the monthly sales target is achieved
• Plan & assign staff to be transferred to support other branches
• Ad Hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirement:

• At least 3 years of Automotive service / repair experience and 3 years in Team lead position.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Automotive or equivalent.
• Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Able to interact with all levels of personality with positive-minded attitude
• Have own means of transportation and able to travel to all branches located in Perlis, Kedah, Penang & Perak
• Computer literate and proficient in MS office

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
