Responsibilities:

  • The HR Executive - Hiring will be responsible for managing and driving the recruitment process across various roles within the retail pharmacy industry. This position requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the retail pharmacy sector, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to source, assess, and onboard talent that aligns with the company’s goals and values.

End-to-End Recruitment:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet staffing needs across retail pharmacy outlets.
  • Conduct job analysis, create job descriptions, and define role-specific competencies for positions in the pharmacy.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and align recruitment strategies accordingly.

Sourcing & Talent Acquisition:

  • Utilize job boards, social media, networking, and headhunting to identify and attract top talent in the retail pharmacy sector.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs, ensuring a continuous pipeline of skilled candidates.
  • Partner with recruitment agencies and platforms, as necessary, to widen the talent search.

Onboarding & Orientation:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Conduct new employee orientation to introduce company policies, culture, and expectations.

Employee Relations & Communication:

  • Maintain clear and open communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Provide feedback to candidates regarding the outcome of their applications.
  • Work closely with employees and management to resolve any recruitment-related issues.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all hiring practices comply with legal and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities, candidate information, and other HR documentation.

Collaboration with Other HR Functions:

  • Partner with the HR team to align recruitment efforts with workforce planning and overall HR strategies.
  • Provide support for other HR functions such as performance management, training, and employee development as required.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source of hire) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Analyze hiring trends and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, ideally within the retail or pharmacy industry.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Understanding of the pharmacy industry and the specific staffing requirements it entails.
