Purpose The Assistant Manager (Private & International Schools) administers and coordinates all matters, events & initiative related to private & international schools in Malaysia. Area of responsibilities The roles & responsibilities are as follows: 1. Support and service relationships with a network of counsellors & principals of private & international schools. 2. Coordinate all events related to private & international schools 3. Organise various initiatives to increase rapport and awareness of MMU among private & international school students. 4. Take part in all student recruitment and seeding events 5. Any other tasks assigned by the Director of SRAD. ORGANIZATION SUMMARY MMU is the education arm and one of the subsidiaries of TM. MMU is a Government-Linked University (GLU) that is fully privatized (IPTS). Strategic Marketing Admission and Recruitment Division(SMART) was established in January 2021 to oversee the overall marketing, promotion, publicity, corporate communication, student recruitment, admission and enrolment of the university. Under the SMART Division, Student Recruitment and Admission Department (SRAD) is responsible to strategise, plan and implement student recruitment and outreach activities in order to achieve the annual enrolment target of MMU. SRAD is further divided to specific tasks that contribute to potential students eventually accepting the offer to the various programmes offered to the potential students, such as Admission Department, Student Recruitment Office(Local), Student Recruitment Office (Postgraduate & International) and Leads Management Center. Student Recruitment Office ( Local) or SRO (Local) is further divided into smaller Units, namely Recruitment Initiatives & Activities (REVIVE), Government Institution Outreach (GIO) and Onground Promotion & Private Institution (OPPI). OPPI is focused at supporting both seeding and direct recruitment events by planning and managing the on-ground publicity and promotion activities using . OPPI will also strategise using multiple channels to increase seeding leads and collaborate with recruitment agents, Alumni, MMU community, tuition centers, associations/clubs, feeder institutions to better engage and drive enrolment for the university.
