Key Responsibilities: Supplier Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet the company’s needs. Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Order Management: Place orders and ensure timely delivery of products or services. Budget Control: Monitor spending to ensure purchases are within budget. Quality Assurance: Ensure purchased products meet required quality standards. Relationship Management: Maintain good relationships with suppliers for ongoing support and service. Inventory Coordination: Work with inventory teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages or excess. Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of orders, contracts, and supplier communications. Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends and pricing to make smart purchasing decisions Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a construction company. Knowledge of construction materials and supply chain processes. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred). Preferably someone who can start immediately.
