1. Assist the Managing Director (Managing Director) in managing the company's business and implementing the company's policies and instructions given by the Managing Director; 2. Represent the company in all negotiations and technical discussions with the company's clients/customers; 3. Advise, guide and train the staff of the client companies in managing their business when required by them; 4. Expand the company's business by obtaining new consultant service contracts with Japanese food importers in Malaysia; 5. Identify new suppliers of Japanese food products currently imported by the company's clients/customers and obtain all information and consent from the new suppliers to supply their products to buyers in Malaysia; 6. Play an advisory role to the company's clients/customers who import Japanese food and keep in touch with them and provide brochures, circulars and reports regarding the Japanese food production industry, its new developments, problems in the industry, price trends and possible decisions or supply disruptions due to weather and so on; 7. Research and provide information, advice and technical information to the company regarding sources of Japanese food supplies, identity and output of suppliers, especially new suppliers and their terms, supplier problems such as logistics, weather and packaging, problems related to the introduction or amendment of new regulations/legislation regarding food hygiene and safety and consumer health; all matters that may or are occurring that may affect the supply of food products from Japan; 8. Represent the company's clients/customers as buyers of Japanese food products in negotiations on prices, supply volumes and other terms with suppliers in Japan; 9. Establish and ensure close relationships between the company and its clients/customers as well as suppliers of Japanese food products and importers in Malaysia; 10. Act as a Japanese/English translator for the company's clients/customers in their dealings with suppliers/vendors from Japan; 11. Create and operate employee training systems and plans such as holding seminars and workshops for the company's client/customer staff.
