The Assistant Factory Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the factory. The position involves assisting the Factory Manager in managing production schedules, supervising staff, maintaining quality control, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Operational Management: - Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising production activities to meet production targets and deadlines. - Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards. - Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operations. 2. Team Leadership: - Supervise and guide factory staff, including operators, technicians, and supervisors. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training as needed. - Address staff issues and promote a positive work environment. 3. Compliance and Safety: - Ensure adherence to workplace safety, health, and environmental standards. - Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 4. Resource Management: - Optimize the use of resources such as raw materials, equipment, and manpower. - Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges. 5. Continuous Improvement: - Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions. - Collaborate with the Factory Manager on initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Job Requirements: Education and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. • Diploma holders with extensive relevant experience may also be considered. Experience: • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in factory operations or production management. • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred. Skills and Competencies: • Strong understanding of production processes and factory management principles. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production software. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
