Salary Package: RM 10,000 – RM 12,000 (negotiable)
with (13month Salary) *** Performance Bonus available
Working Days / Hours : Mon – Fri (8:30am - 5:30pm)
Reporting to : APAC HR Director

Job Description :
We seek an experienced HR Manager with 7 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and placement and assignment for expatriates. This role requires a strategic thinkerwho can drive HR initiatives and contribute to the organisation's success. Experience working in a Japanese company will be considered an advantage. This role reports to APAC HR Director based in Singapore. 60% of the job scope will remain in Malaysia, while 40% will involve Regional HR responsibilities.
1. Performance Management:
- Implement and manage a performance management system.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.
- Work with managers to set performance goals and track progress.
2. Placement and Assignment for Expatriates:
- Manage the placement and assignment of expatriate employees.
- Coordinate with Japan HR to ensure a smooth transition for expatriates.
- Provide support and guidance to expatriates regarding local culture, housing, and other relocation needs.
3. Compensation and Benefits:
- Conduct market research to determine competitive salary ranges.
- Develop and administer compensation and benefits packages.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
- Evaluate and adjust compensation and benefits programs to align with organizational goals.
4. Recruitment and Selection:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and improve the hiring process.
5. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
6. Regional Function :
- Collaborate closely with IHIAP HR to develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy across the APAC regions.
- Conduct Employee Engagement surveys, organise regional HR meetings, and coordinate the annual HR work plan to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving regional HR objectives
7.Any other Matters :
- Ad hoc requests may be raised by various MDs, such as visa matters, developing company rules & regulations and supervising of admin staff.
Academic Qualification
- At least 7 to 8 years of general HRM/HRD experience, preferably in manufacturing with exposure working in Malaysia
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with Japanese companies will be a plus
- Well versed in Employment Act
- Willing to travel on short notice
