M&E Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: 1. Liaise and coordinate with consultant for relevant submission and approval of materials, method statement, shop drawing, inspection of works. 2. Prepare M&E detail construction schedule in relation to the main contractor master work programme 3. Review M&E design drawings and identify discrepancies between M&E, civil and structural, architectural and interior design drawings. 4. Prepare M&E coordination drawing for all services for approval by consultants for the project. 5. Work closely with the Project Manager/Site Agent to coordinate and supervise the project site in relation to all M&E works. 6. Prepare the M&E progress reports and general correspondence pertaining to the M&E works 7. In-charge of overall M&E work and coordination with nominated sub-contractors, consultant teams and JKR departments on M&E matters like work progress, meetings, drawings, materials, samples, method statements, shop drawings submission and approval all in accordance to construction plan, 8. To ensure all works carried out are in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, construction plan and proper method statement requirement. Requirements: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (M&E) or equivalent. 2. Preferable with government project base experience especially JKR Malaysia contract 3. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Building construction preferably with exposure to Construction of government office multi-storey building will be advantage. 4. Able to carry out duties on site full time. 5. Self-motivated and able to work independently, highly discipline, responsible, punctual and very duty bound. 6. Computer literate & familiar with the MS Project and AutoCAD programs.
